Early intermediate to advanced* harpists
*An audition is required for the advanced track.

Intensive focus on the harp, including group and individual attention, coaching and practice time, will inspire participants to grow to the next level of musicianship and artistry. Every day includes:

Harp Ensemble  Intensive time devoted to harp ensemble literature in preparation for a concert at the end of the Institute. A favorite class year after year, students have fun while learning the necessary skills for ensemble playing.

Individual Attention  Private instruction is a crucial element in the proper development of a player's skills. Students have the opportunity to work one-on-one with faculty.

Coaching  Students work in chamber (small) ensembles with a faculty coach. Students may chose to use their time with a faculty coach to prepare orchestral parts or recital repertoire.

Individual Practice Time  Each student has an opportunity for uninterrupted individual practice time. Practice techniques and strategies are incorporated into all aspects of instruction. Students utilize these methods during practice to maximize their time.
