Jasmine Pitt, a current high school senior, has been studying classical piano for 11 years and has been affiliated with GreenSpring Academy for 4 years. Before joining GreenSpring Academy, Jasmine competed in the National Piano Guild, American College of Music at the Prodigy Level.

Jasmine’s journey with GreenSpring Academy started in 2017 when she began taking classical piano lessons under the instruction of Alexander Kordzaia and joining various chamber ensembles. Later, she began studying jazz under Curtis Sydnor and composition under Chris Marshall. In the summer of 2019, Jasmine embarked on a trans-Atlantic tour on the Queen Mary II with the GreenSpring International Ensemble, performing every night as a featured soloist, chamber musician, and choir accompanist. Following the tour, Jasmine became the youngest pianist ever hired to regularly accompany the GreenSpring Virginia Choristers. She was also invited to perform the celeste with the University of Richmond Symphony Orchestra under Alexander Kordzaia.

Jasmine regularly performs with jazz ensembles comprised of professional musicians, some of which have recorded with stars such as Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald. In her jazz ensembles, Jasmine has performed on live television, on worldwide radio at the Original Big Band Showcase, and many other venues in the Richmond area.
